The uverse tech couldn't get a Windows 7 machine to connect with uverse's stock wifi settings. There is a page on the uverse router Settings, Lan, Wireless called "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" that the ATT tech disabled and bam, the windows 7 machine was then able to connect.
I also use WPA/WPA2 PSK and a simple SSID for security.
Works now.

I'm trying to connect my Blu-ray player wirelessly so I can stream Netflix movies. I'm using AT&T U-verse.
I have the Samsung wireless dongle, and I can get as far in the process as Gateway Ping. Then I get an error message that says "Not connected to the gateway."
Any ideas how I can make this work? I'm able to use my Mac and my Canon printer wirelessly through U-verse, so why not the Blu-ray player?
Thanks for any help!
