Using an Unlocked phone!

by elmrj / September 9, 2007 7:16 AM PDT

Does anybody know how or where to get software or app's that can be added to phone to use IM or Email..I know service provider's have these with a data subscription but I have a unlocked phone that can be used with any server. I can insert the sim's card from the carrier(Cingular) I'm using now and make call's with no problem, but the phone lacks the Java or App's to use the IM's or Emails. I'm not trying to get out of the carrier's data plan I already use that on the contracted phone and just like carriering this other phone at time's for a different look at times. On my contracted phone I do use the Data plan and use the IM and Email service ok, but since carrier does not support this phone (Motorola Razor: Dolce & Gabbana) unlocked version they won't give software so I can download it to phone. Anybody know of a source of doing this even paying for the download is ok if there's a site available. Thanks..elmrj

go to at&t's website and get the WAP info for email. it would be the same for a razr or krzr. have instant messages forwarded to your phone.
