Resolved Question

using a URL to post images to a post

Mar 2, 2016 6:10PM PST

I got a URL from Shutterfly that gives you a URL to share pictures. I uploaded my screenshots saved as jpeg files on my new URL. I tried to enter my URL (https://mkfj307.shutterfly.com/pictures/11) to be able to post a screenshot and I get the message "the entered data is invalid" . What am I doing wrong?

That was close enough!

I didn't get a URL by right clicking on the pic. I just got a drop down edit menu but I fooled around with it awhile. I found if I clicked on sending them to my regular Shutterfly account & right clicked, I could find the URL in Properties. Thank you so much!

Those look to be page links, not image links.

Yes a web browser does show an image but you need an image link, not this.

Try other image share sites like imgur or others. I see others have noted issues with shutterfly's image links before.

open the "Pictures and Videos" and then clk on the image you want to make it regular size. When the larger image opens you can right clk on that and get it's URL.

Or in Pictures and Videos, you can right clk on the image, choose to open in a new tab or windows and then right clk on that and choose Copy Image Location and paste that URL.

I have tried every way I know to change the picture & right clicking on it only opens an edit menu. No option will show the URL. Any suggestions?

And your choice of an image site seems to have this complaint. Try another.

Again, the link must end in png, jpeg, jpg or gif.
