I?m sure this subject has come up before, but lately I?ve noticed several posts that read like ads, or that tend to knock tried and tested freeware with a claim that some payware product is a thousand times better. It?s especially suspect when the username is something like "PCEmporium5" or "SpyCommander2000", but there are others who, while coming across as average users, aggressively push a single (usually pay) product. I wonder what CNET policy is on this, as I?ve never seen such a post get locked. Back in my green days, I downloaded a bunch of "antispyware" that turned out to be some pretty nasty stuff. Isn?t it a concern that total newbies could read these ad-posts and get taken in a mistaken if not harmful direction?
