General discussion

user sharing same program on same machine

Sep 28, 2011 10:58AM PDT

spec:

win 7 home pre x64, problem: kmplayer.

Laptop, 2 user accounts, one is admin, another is "standard" user.

I installed KMplayer, the admin account can use it no problem, but the standard user is not able to use it. Moreover, the KMplayer does Not show up in the "start" -> "program".

Tried the following: Change the user type to "admin", it didn't solve this problem.

Is there any way to fix this? OR i will have to go to C:\program..... to create a short cut for KMplayer?

PS: i have installed other programs, such as "VLC player", "netBeans",
"DivX", etc, they all working fine. some of them may not show up on the
desktop, that was intended to, but exists in the "start -> program".

thanks in advance
