User Name not recognized when logging in

by Jen23472 / April 8, 2007 7:41 AM PDT

Ok I've got a good one here....
After changing names on the computer from my brothers to mine, my computer no longer recognizes his name at the logon screen to get into winxp. I've tried typing in my name, my husbands name and nothing works. This is the error message I get...

User name or domain is not correct, check password, and user and type again.

I can't get into my computer for nothing. (And I"ve tried safe mode, and it won't let me in that way either) Any ideas??

I know my password, but it doesn't recognize the user name. I've tried restoring it back to a previous state, but that doesn't work either.

Get to the administrator account so you can use that account to fix the other accounts.
