Up until recently, almost all of my experience with cameras has been with the cameras on my cellphone. About two weeks ago, I purchased the JVC GZ-E200.I haven't had much time to use it until recently, but I have noticed that every picture I take seems either blurry or otherwise imperfect. I have taken perhaps a hundred pictures in various lightings and with various resolutions/ settings. Not one picture looks nearly as good as pictures taken from any camera phone I have had in the past few years (yes, I focus before taking a shot). Videos have the same problem for me. Normally I would just return the item to Amazon and get a replacement, but as I know essentially nothing about digital cameras, I thought it might be a good idea to come here for suggestions.
This is an example of the average picture taken with the camera.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
