Howdy all, I'm having a huge problem with the user accounts on my Mac.
Under 10.5 I had two accounts on my mac.
rosscbrown - admin - general day to day stuff (created when I first got my mac)
rcbrown - admin - for giving presentations etc
I upgraded to 10.6 with these accounts in place.
I then created a managed account called 'presentation' for giving presentations and deleted the 'rosscbrown' account.
Now, the 'rcbrown' account does not show on the list of accounts at login - only the presentation account. I somehow managed to get back into the 'rcbrown' account and disabled the list of user accounts a logon.
That was a few weeks ago and now I've just had to restart the mac. Now, when I type 'rcbrown' into the logon box with the password for that account, I end up logged into the managed account. From the amanged account I have tried fast user switching menu to log into the managed 'presentation' account with that account's password.
The password is accepted but no switch takes place because i'm logged into the 'presentation' account.
From the 'presentation' account I'm unable to unlock settings in "account preferences".
What on earth do I do?! Any ideas??
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
