pen the Control Panel (Classic Style), then double click on "User Accounts", then in the "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off", UNCHECK the box for "User Account Control". Reboot the computer.
Once that's done, Vista may warn you of the lack of security by throwing a red or yellow warning shield in the lower right corner/system tray. You can disable that as well by opening Control Panel, then the "Security Center" icon, then select the "Don't Notify me and don't display the icon" option.
It won't cure all evils but frequently allows a number of "permissions" issues to be eliminated.
In addition, as long as Lisa is an administrator, she should be able to have full permissions.. I find it a GOOD IDEA to have at least TWO users with admin rights.. If something should happen to Lisa's profile, (such corruption happens more than many are aware of), you will have a second admin login to fix things with.
Hope this helps.

I purchased a laptop for my wife with Windows Vista Home Premium already installed. I am new to VISTA and somehow I managed to set up a user account named Lisa. I now have two accounts; Lisa and Owner. I only want the Owner account since it has all the rights and permissions. I did set up Lisa with the account type Administrator but I receive access violations on some folders. Vista Home premium does not have the group function that I am used to in XP.
Question 1: How do I ensure that Lisa has all rights and permissions of Owner?, or
Question 2: Is there a way I can combine Lisa's profile with Owner?
