Question

used rx 570 4gb code 43

I recently bought a used rx 570 from ebay. However upon installation of the card then drivers, after the reboot, my pc displayed a code 43 in device manager for the rx 570. my computer is prioritizing my integrated graphics and not using my rx 570: https://imgur.com/a/C49Oj7p
I had an issue with my old gpu, a gtx 670, in that it crashed my pc and caused some errors windows couldn't repair. I did fix them but somethings are a bit iffy, windows store doesn;t work anymore. I tried doing a clean install to try to fix code 43 and repairing the os, but nothing worked. I tried using the drivers that come with the card, and the latest ones from the website while using DDU in between. I am stumped and the card looks relatively new with the only sign of use is some dust but no visible signs the card has overheated or been run for long. I honestly have no idea and need urgent help

Specs:
CPU i5-2500k
GPU rx 570 4gb
OS Windows 10 (latest version)
PSU TX 650
RAM 8gb

Your motherboard BIOS (is it current) and did you start with current BIOS and chipset driver package installs?

I've lost count of folk try and try with the GPU driver yet forget the two things before that.

My motherboard is an Asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 currently with a bios version of P1.30, i dont know how to check chipset driver packages, my computer knowledge isn't too great outside the realm of basic fixes

So the BIOS is very outdated.

This is not a sure fix. But it's what happens at service centers all the time. If this doesn't clear it up you need to ask the GPU maker's support for what to try next.

In a shop setting we would also test this video card in a good PC because and this is an awful thing, there are fake GPUs out there.
