used apple ibook vs. new- what differences in performance?

would it have any major noticeable changes if i bought a used apple ibook G4- bought march 24, 2005? it was treated with much care. what do you think? i would mainly use the ibook for managing my ipod video and surfing the internet- maybe watching movies. please help me

the used iBook will do nicely.
I don't recall the specs on the machine you are talking about but it was no slouch.
If the price is right, go for it.
