I want to know if I can use a Logitech Unifying USB receiver with my Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse on a computer that doesn't have Bluetooth?

Answer
Nope.

I have a Logitech V470 Bluetooth and it does not pair with that. It won't matter yours is the 557..

USB Bluetooth dongles are pretty cheap here but I suggest you don't as I found my Bluetooth mouse battery appetite to be why I don't use it. Also it's a bit laggy.

I have managed to pair up my m557 to a mx5500 receiver and it works. that's why I'm asking about the unifying receiver

So that should work. The unifying receiver I've seen are not Bluetooth.
