Use dongle on LG TV with built-in WiFi?

I have a LG 42LN5700 smart TV, which has built-in WiFi. I've been having problems with it failing to connect to the wireless network. Is it possible to plug in a dongle and get a WiFi connection that way with this model?

So far, not a single TV can use PC WiFi dongles.

Thank you. I didn't mean a PC dongle plugged into a TV, but a TV dongle of the sort that LG sells for their TVs, like these. They are intended for TVs that don't have built-in WiFi, of course. But I am asking whether some such dongle could work with my TV, which has built-in WiFi (as a sort of bypass of the built-in).

Never found those to work either.

In reply to: Clarification

Samsung has similar and unless the TV is listed, it doesn't work.

That's what I figured, but thought I'd ask to make sure. Much obliged.
