Use a portable WiFi access point in a hotel room?

Jun 5, 2005 7:40AM PDT

I have a Dell Axim X30 (Win Mobile 2003) with WiFi (802.11b). In various hotels, in-room broadband Internet access is provided via an Ethernet connection jack. My Axim uses an SD card and there is no Ethernet SD card available.
- Can I use a portable WiFi access point device to plug into the hotel room's Ethernet port and then access the Internet using my pocket pc's WiFi function?
- Is there any model of WiFi access point device recommended?
- Is setup of such arrangement difficult?
