USB TV Tuner

by AntiRellik / February 1, 2009 2:15 AM PST

Hello =)
I've been looking foward into buying a USB TV Tuner to hook up my PS2 to my laptop. What worries me if there are any delays =\
The PS2s best output is in progressive scan when using Component cables, so I was wondering if theres any USB TV Tuner that accepts component?
I would use the composite cables, but I'm not sure how that will look on the laptop... Framerate and response is very imporant for me.
Some help will be really appreciated lol
Thanks! Grin

The usual delay is 1/30 of a second.

If that is too much then stick with cards. Yes you can get cards for you laptops.

As to component. No. S-Video is actually ok. I've done it and the only problem is when you start to notice how ragged 480i or 480p is.

Yes I know you can use cards, but...

Problem is, I don't have a slot on my laptop so the only solution i've got is a USB TV Tuner Silly
I've seen a few folks use EasyCap, but is there any other good quality USB Tuner?
