USB splitter

Aug 16, 2004 10:22PM PDT

I want to connect two computers to one SAGEM DSL modem so that both computers can access the internet. I think I need some type of connector 2 male leads IN and 1 male lead OUT. Does such a device exist?

Such an USB Network is noted at http://www.usbman.com and at wown.com under the ICS area.

The cost is actually more than a pair of network cards and cable. Go figure.

Remember that this is not a splitter for the USB MODEM, but to get a NETWORK so you can setup ICS and share the Internet connection. There IS NO such device to share the USB MODEM. Don't think anymore about it. It doesn't exist and I will not write any it ever again.

Buy a router. check out DSLREPORTS.COM for product reviews. My preference is to use one by LinkSys because I had no connection problem and their site has great support info.
