HI all.
Can any body help.
I brought a USB Drive pen, which had U3 system installed on it, which the computer saw to start with but the U3 sde of it did not not work because its a company computer and
I have'nt got admin priverages.
But after uninstalling the U3 platform the thing is not seen in my computer.
The USB pen works ok on other computers.
Any help wellcome.

Many other items to look at.
Sep 27, 2006 9:48PM PDT

1. XP Pro (no SP2 listed).
I had issues with USB in XP (no SP). SP1 helped but still found issues. SP2 finally cured that.

2. Motherboard drivers.
What I read many times is the machine's owner has outdated motherboard drivers. Or is unaware of such. I can't comment which to use since no details are offered about the machine.

3. If other USB drives work, use those and not the one that doesn't. I've heard glitches with the U3 stuff if one is not the admin. No cure is known besides getting the rights.
