Have you tried re-installing the mouse software?
Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro, and I was prompted to download Service Pack 1. I proceeded to download the SP and install it (installation took forever, incedentally). When it was finally done installing, it prompted me to reboot the computer.
After the reboot, my Dell USB optical mouse doesn't function. Looking at the mouse, the red light doesn't even come on.
Is this a known problem? Anyone have an idea how to fix it?
This upgrade to Pro is turning out to be more trouble than it's been worth. Is there any way I can just revert back to XP Home?
