My Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" (original, not II, III etc.) does not "see" my new ext keyboard, in a case, with USB. It works fine connected to Laptop.

Not all tablets support USB HID keyboards. I find bluetooth keyboards seem to be better supported on Android tablets.

Usb keyboard to tablet
May 14, 2014 3:05AM PDT

I get in this thread because I have one tablet brand EKEN , I have the same problem that I can not use USB keyboard with that tablet, even find anything about bluetooth in that tablet then I cannot use bluetooth keyboard instead of onscreen keyboard. Do they have to have bluetooth card like my other hp tc1100 have, or I just have to use the onscreen keykoard
