USB keyboard and mouse not working on home built

Aug 28, 2010 2:52AM PDT

I just installed the gigabyte drivers for my motherboard, but after I restarted they didn't work. They both worked fine before the drivers. My ps2 keyboard works.

When I turn the computer off using task manager it gives me the blue screen of death then restarts. So I can't turn it off w/o turning the power supply off.

Never a good sign on any build (especially a new build); if this happens again, try to copy down the exact message it is trying to tell you, as this will give you a good indication as to what is going (or not going) on with your new setup.

Then on your next posting; you can give us more details about the BSOD, and maybe we can help further.
