Question

USB Host Controller Device

Aug 9, 2019 12:29PM PDT

I am new to USBs in general. My knowledge of them is connect and disconnect. I need to connect a USB 2.0 Type A hybrid 3 in 1 device. Not 3 connector types, but three devices in one. Thru an interface circuit/device with a Sata Data output.

What I am looking for is a USB Hosting device That can read the data or one for all types of USB devices and uses SATA for data transfers and commands.

Are there any devices out there that can be an intermediator (bridge) that can do this? Or is there anyone who has designed circuity /breadboard for this type of application>

The USB interface is Custom(Vendor Specific) + MSC and the file system on the USB device is FAT32.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've plugged such into Linux and Windows PCs for over a decade so is there more detail about the host here?
