USB Headphones not working in Realtek HD Sound Manager.

Jun 7, 2012 9:50AM PDT

Hello all.
I'm using Microsoft Live Chat 3000 headphones. And when I try to play it in Realtek HD Sound Manager it will not work. However, the sound works fine without out. But I want to play it with Realtek.

Any ideas? It's USB Headphones.

Never going to happen.

Realtek in short controls your audio chips or card.

USB headphones is "an audio card connected to your USB with a headphone."

So no, you won't be doing this. (ever)

Oh okay, well can you help me try to record in-game sound with these headphones?

Thanks.

Can you help me with my In-game sound then? I'm using Fraps and when I try to record the sound it will only pick my microphone up, and not my in-game sound. (I'm using Windows XP) by the way.

That's not the topic here. Maybe someone will respond but to me that's a new topic and a new discussion.

Thanks for telling me this. You saved me sometime trying to get it how to work. I'll just use my speakers... for now.
