USB for recording TV?

Oct 16, 2010 12:47PM PDT

Sorry to trouble you again but I'd like to know what type of USB flash drive/memory stick I can use for recording the TV program straight to a flash drive. My normal USB flash drives aren't supported, when trying to format Sad.
I have a Series 7 LED LCD 46" TV UA46C7000WF.
I've read that Sandisk Extreme Ducati Edition 4GB USB Flash Drive may work as it's high speed. Is this right? We don't record much and not worth buying a PVR or is there a way to record to my PC?

gabby5558,

No trouble at all - we're here to answer questions.

However, I'm unable to address this one because that feature isn't supported in the U.S. I've seen some posts where people were able to get it to work, so I'll be happy to bump this post up in hopes that someone from your region might be able to answer it.

You might also inquire with the Samsung customer service center in your region. They may be able to walk you through the process or define what you need to do for that specific feature.

That would be great if you could do this, as USB recording would be a fantastic feature to advertise for the likes of me.
Thanks heaps

gabby5558,

Did you try calling the Samsung customer service center in your region to inquire about this feature? Assuming this isn't a U.S. inquiry, contacting the customer service people would probably be the best option.

But again, happy to bump up the topic.

Any UAxx owners able to chime in on this?
