hey girls and guys,

well i need to format my usb so it can be read by a MAC and a PC. how can i do that?

Try leaving it as it is supplied.

As supplied it will be ready to use on the PC. See if it works on both.

As Bob says, leave it like it is.
They come formatted in PC-FAT which almost any computer can read. Certainly the PC and Mac can.

maybe i wasn't clear enough before in my post. Well i know they come formated for pc and mac, but the problem is that i formatted it on a PC (windows XP)now i can't use it but for a PC. I think i formated it as NTFS not sure though.

So how can i formmat it back as to be used on both? can i do it with normal software? like winxp's disk tools?

But look carefully at the various drop down menu boxes and set it to FAT32.
