USB enclosure not work with vista

Jul 6, 2007 6:42PM PDT

I have a 3.5 inch USB enclosure hard drive which runs fine with my XP box. When I try to connect that with my laptop using Vista, it doesn't get recognized. I try to reactivate it under Disk Management, the option was disabled. Please advise.

if the computer doesn't recognize the enclosure. Have you tried a different USB port?

Any PASSWORD or One Button Sink feature.

A revelation is that both features need to be dispensed with for such to work with Vista.

I've purposely misspelled sync and not discussed the need to partition or format new drives.
