Question

USB device sometime detected some time not

i have bought a sandisk 3.0 usb recently.In the first 2 or 3 days it was working fine but after it started detection issues. It will never get detected by any pc and when i try after a day or two it will get detected for once and will show all the data i have stored on it no copying issues and also the size of the usb is still the same no change with respect to size

If it isn't detected on any PC, it's a clear warranty issue. Get a new one before it fails totally!

Be sure to get your data safely off and delete everything on it before you give it back.

Yes I would take it back as Scan Disk have a life time warranty.

Also some computer do not recognise a USB device if you plug it into another USB connector other than the one it was first plugged into.

ie. My mate told me his USB Hard drive wouldn't work. I plugged it in and it worked fine. I ask him which port he had trouble with and we tried it and the two other ports and it wouldn't connect. Put it back in the port I had plugged it into and it worked OK. This is an OS issue rather than a hardware issue in that once it is associated with the first USB port the OS seems to block it being used in other USB ports on the same computer. I have this problem on one of my 5 USB sticks; the rest will work in any USB port.
