Question

Usb 4k bluray player

Mar 6, 2016 3:33AM PST

In a month or so the first 4k bluray discs will be available. I want to watch those discs on my pc. Is there already an external 4k bluray player for windows and mac?

Clarification Request
From what I read it's not a player at all.

The 4K BluRay content is on bog standard BluRay media so it will take new players. I own a BluRay and DVD recorder and drive so again what I read is that I don't have to replace it. I only need the player software.

http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd-ultra/features_en_US.html?&r=1 calls out its Ultra 4K playback.

No special drive is required other than BluRay.

Answer
(NT) My first reply was lost. Try PowerDVD for 4K playback.
