Hello everyone! I'm still pretty new to the forums here at CNET. I wanted to see what everyone though about this idea...

I guess the Linux Foundation just released a how-to on beginning Linux and open source developing (such as coding). This how-to basically describes how to jump in and not get overwhelmed, and actually become a valuable part of the Kernel community. What about us Linux USERS out there though? I would love to help with people gaining knowledge about Linux and open source but I'm definitely not a coder... Never will be.

I am decent at writing though and have been thinking about starting a podcast that was about open source...

So, the question is... Where is our damn how-to?! Maybe we will have to write our own.

Look it up.
Howto's here by any member of the Linux community have never been well received.
You can try to write a howto both here and at a Linux forum.
If you need help, there are a few people on here that will give advice. Be sure to test it out.
There are more people in the Linux community that will be willing to help.
