Stranger things have happened, but ...

The story is hard to believe. Besides, politicians don't do delayed gratification. If Bush had news that big he would not be able to resist the urge to announce it now and deflect/squelch some of the heat he's taking in other areas.

There are two chances of that report being true, Del:

One's slim, and you know the other. Now, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we'd managed to close off his escape routes and have him cornered while we try to figure out exactly how to nab him - and that is no one's business save those doing the searching!

Over time, we've seen reports...........

.....that a close aide/confidant/driver, ie someone in his immediate presence, always wore an explosive vest. If those reports, testimony/confessions, are true, I doubt the world will ever see him in live custody.

If the predominance of other more current reports are correct, and he is captured, it will be the Paki's that actually grab him, cause we're 'not supposed' to have any Americans involved in actions in Pakistan.

There's a report out today, read it on the www, that to date, the Paki's have captured more al-Queda and Taliban individuals than any other country involved.

All of this certainly supports the reports that the bad guys are continuously transiting the Paki/Afghan border and are basing in Pakistan.
