Specifically that RG 59 or RG 6 (I defer to the web here) with F type connections.
Given this my bet is the switch removed the old carrier from your coax.
I decided to switch my internet to US Internet (double the speed, half the price) but want to keep CenturyLink for cable. I am able to get internet (US Internet) using a regular router but I cannot figure out how to get the CenturyLink cable to work. I have a CenturyLink cable box and a CenturyLink modem. Anyone has a diagram with the correct configuration for my case? My configuration with CenturyLink internet + cable was....
1) HDMI from cable box to TV.
2) Ethernet network cable from cable box to modem.
3) LAN cable from modem to TV.
4) Ethernet (LAN/WAN) cable from CenturyLink terminal to modem.
Thanks!
