Newsletter

I'm going to be starting a newsletter soon, which will have shownotes and links to think we've talked about on the show. So you'll get the exact links!

go for newsletter
Nov 23, 2005 5:23AM PST

...but you seriously need to improve the forum structure for Buzz;

should be at least two or three 'groups' (ideas for storeis, comments on items in show and other/info/banter)

...and what's with the forced registration?
...and the login redirect to the front page so i have to go five steps to get back here ?!?

good podcast, unstable delivery/servers (one in three end up at 25seconds), good idea with newsletter

I don't usually have problems
Nov 24, 2005 11:47AM PST

I just go to forums.cnet.com and most of the time I'm logged in. I've never had to go through 5 pages to log in.

As for the delivery, I do notice problems once in a while, but I just try again later. BTW, I use Ipodder.

they should have a page with archives of the show and what links they mentioned. i'm wondering why people can't check out the archives on their site? i listen at work and i can't install any progs on my machine so i can't subscribe to get the older shows

Good ideas

Archive sis a good idea. You can fake it by hacking the URL and changing the date.

Also until the newsletter comes here's a partial list ofwhere we look regularly

other ideas -- and a question about Sony's website
Nov 22, 2005 8:11AM PST

First, I think a newsletter is a good idea. Or, some podcasts have show notes. Do you do that? I haven't seen it, but that would be a good place for links maybe.

The most recent podcast mentioned going to Sony's website for info on the rootkit and which CDs are affected, etc. I've gone there twice since I subscribed to your podcast and haven't found anything about this issue either time. Can you give us a hint as to where to look? Thanks!
