URL box

I have Windows XP on my computer. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get to a URL box from the minute I turn on my computer? Thank you very much. user470

For me, one click and then the F6 button.

I run a browser then tap F6. Bingo, I'm at the URL box of most browsers.

So ...

if you put a shortcut to your favorite browser in the Startup group of your Start>Programs tree of folders, that starts the browser. But you'll have to press f6 yourself.

Once booted an logged in all you need ...

is to press the Windows key on the keyboard then the R key for the Run box.

Type in the URL you want and either press the enter/return key or click OK

The browser loads opening the URL you typed.
