URGENT Help - Problems after Norton WinDoctor 2004

Jul 9, 2004 8:56PM PDT

After running Norton WinDoctor and 'fixed' the encountered problems almost every application got prevented to run from its shortcut, start menu, etc. including Windows Explorer.
However if I run some of them from the Start-Run command line they work.
Thanks!

The 2004 version seems to have others not so happy as well.

Contact Symantec on how to fix and consider that WinDoctor is due for a malpractice lawsuit.

As to undoing the damage, use SYSTEM RESTORE.

Since I started to think about suing Symantec, after all the idea of that "format" thing came across my mind and thus loosing all my info, I jumped into the net searching for anything similar to my problem.
I found this article about the 'exe' files and explorer with instructions about taking a bit of registry out and replacing it with another new one - Bingo! It worked, I got my computer back from the zombieland!
Thanks anyway,
