Urgent firmware needed for LA40A680M1MXRD

Mar 12, 2009 12:22PM PDT

Hi
Please help!
I urgently need a firmware to set my new LCD TV back to noraml. Does anyone know how I can get a hold of the firmware for the Samsung LCD TV model LA40A680M1MXRD. It has the Digital and Analog tuner built into it. V 0007. would be great as that was what came installed.
Any help would be fantastic.

Thanks.

BJMckay123,

Unfortunately, I don't have any influence in the any non-U.S. markets when it comes to firmware suggestions or replacements. The only suggestion I can make is to call the service center in your country and see if they can send you a thumb-drive (usb drive) or file that will allow you to install the firmware on your television.

See if they'll do it...

Try to see if you can get them to come out and repair the unit as if you're unsure of the exact problem, "just that you know you have one". If the correct firmware that was issued to you didn't work, then you should be able to get some service out of that.

Is that something you have warranty left on?

I think I will have to get them out but it will cost me. They won't do it under warranty.
