The Sony DSLRs can be found at under $400 because they were flops in sales and are discounted because of the lack of popularity. They are a great option for the cash strapped but they aren't as good as the Nikon and Canon entry level, but they are better than the point and shoots in that price range. The best bang for the buck is going to be the Sony A230, because of it's horrendous ergonomics and not up the the slightly higher Canon and Nikon models is what makes it a steal in buying a DSLR for very cheap.
I am new to this magical photography world and aiming to buy camera. though my budget is low $ 400
as i am beginner , so camera should not be somewhat PROFESSIONAL GIANT but should be enough to give me a lot to learn. potraits , natural scenery .. and quality should be good enough
please suggest me cameras from canon , nikon and sony ..
p.s. have seen on forums that sony provide even good entry level DLSR within $400 . which model is most successful within prescribed range ..
and whats about canon and nikon?
