by vinlandii / December 1, 2004 3:50 PM PST

Ok, I'm a noob at this. I have never done anything like this before, but I want to upload some picture of my car project online. Please leads me to place where I can learn how to build a website and upload picture.

Thanks ahead for the reply.

Type this (without the "" speech marks) into Google and press Enter

How do I build my own web site?

Although there are many sites that will host your web site for you, and some of them free, they are often limited in what content you can include. So, be prepared to learn a little bit of HTML, and check your own ISP's web site to see if it will host your web site for you.

free sites

there are two that I know of
1. yahoo geocity
2. anglefire

you sign up for free then you upload some html and they serve it under something like http://anglefire.com/usrname....
it's pretty easy, I recommend yahoo's because the interface is much easier to understand.

~WhoSave.com, tech should be like water, accessible to all.

Generally before pistures can be uploaded to a web site they must be stored online. As mentioned in previous posts some free hosts offer simple web site builders. http://freeservers.com is another one. Some of them make uploading a limited number pictures very easy. There are usually acceptable ways to cercumvent the limit by uploading them using HTML.

If you need a place to store an unlimited number of pictures online http://host.pixerver.com/ will store them for free. It's the easiest free picture storage host I've found.
