Upgrading to XP

by Jim41 / September 23, 2004 9:10 AM PDT

I've got an older Dell laptop running Win98 that I'd like to wipe clean and upgrade to XP. What's the best option: 1) purchase the CD at Best Buy for $99; 2)purchase the "OEM version" off the Internet for $50; or is there a more economical way to do this? Thanks!

Depending on how big your system is? You will require at least 1.3GHz processor with 256Mb 100HZ RAM or better and also a 40Gig hard drive.
