Question

Upgrading PC for FPS increase. What graphics card to use?

Mar 24, 2014 10:30AM PDT

Hello my name is Simon recently i built an computer last summer and get some pretty decent FPS on some games on play. However i would enjoy to have more FPS on higher quality games. Personally i believe it's because of my Graphics card that i don't receive as much FPS as i would like to receive, however i would also like to upgrade other things on my computer to enhance it's ability to run games. So i am making this post to ask for someone to help me when it comes to which graphics card i need to build in order to increase my FPS and or what else i should upgrade on my computer as well. Also i am not sure about which parts are compatible with my PC build so i am coming here for help. Also i am not looking to go over about $300 for an graphics card $300 is about my stopping point, so please keep that in mind.

Here are my specs

System Specs
Budget:300
VGA:AMD Radeon HD 8670D
MB:FM2-A75MA-E35(MS-7721)
Manufacturer: MSI
OS:Windows 7
CPU:AMD A10-6800k APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 4.10 GHz
Memory:8GB
PSU:i think 600 watts (probably needs an upgrade) Brand:AMD
HD:ST10000DM 003-9YN162 SATA Disk Device

There are the specs, if you know of an product that i can use to upgrade my computer esp. Graphics card, may you please leave a link the to product in your reply. Thank you

The split rails are 18A or about 216 Watts per rail. For safety I never go over 50% of that. While the card might work, you may see trouble in games. If you do, you'll know where to look.
