Upgrading HDD

I have a Year 2010 Dell Studio XPS Desk Top. Will a Seagate 3TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST3000DM001) be comparable replacement to? Thanks

Personally I'd avoid Seagate - bad reliability.

Dell's web site appears down at the moment, but I'd think any 7200 RPM SATA drive would work.
