Just go to 2GB RAM.

While no exact model was shared I can't tell if moving to a 5400 RPM drive would help so I'll stick with what works for most.

Good morning Bob,
Somehow I knew you would give me a helping hand . It's me again, I just sent my laptop to as you have recommended to fix my AC jack , I am wondering what can I do to maximize the performance of my Fujitsu S6000. Many many Thanks Bob...
P.S Can I buy the part and upgrade it myself ?

They sell ram to many that do it themselves.

Best of luck about that power jack. Don't take this wrong but if you have to ask if you can install the power jack yourself then you won't be doing that.
