Upgrading CPU what about Memory?

I'm thinking about ordering a new Dell Studio 15, and I am going to upgrade the CPU to the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8100 that has the 800Mhz FSB. My question is: will Dell automatically upgrade my memory to a faster speed, so that it will be compatible with the 800Mhz FSB of the CPU?

On the tech specs of the dell website it says "Up to 4GB Dual Channel 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM", doesn't say 800Mhz.

I called Dell, but the sales guy sounded like he didn't really know when he said "Yes." Sounded like he wanted to make a sale.

So, if any of you have the Studio 15 with the CPU upgrade, did they upgrade your memory too?

Then won't the 800Mhz FSB become irrelevant because the memory will slow down the total FSB?

My understanding is that if one component of your computer is running at a slower FSB then the whole system runs at the slowest running component. Is that correct?

Thanks!
