Upgrading cell phone

by glitch485 / January 24, 2006 11:51 AM PST

I currently own a razr v3 and a rokr e1. I like features on both of them (ex. Razr - slim design, Rokr - mp3 player) But get tired of having to switch the sim card in each one to use them and also having to take the battery out. So I was looking around the internet and saw the new razr v3i. I also saw something similar; the Samsung t809

My question is which phone should I upgrade to? The t809 or the v3i? Or if you have any other ideas?

Note: I saw that the t809 only supports mp3s and all the songs on my rokr are in m4p format (itunes format). Would I have to buy all new songs?

ok, first off, what carrier do you have ?

i know you want a thin phone with an mp3 player . i have the t809, a few razr's and the rokr .so i would go with the t809 because it has some really great features. a megapixel camera for instance. yes the v3i is coming out, but do you really want a phone that you have to open to play your music ?? when you give me your carrier, i can better assist you !! ok, send me an email if you have any further questions.

I would recommend to you Alltel (if Alltel services your area). I have the Motorola V3c Rzr and Alltel and I love it. It has excellent call quality and i never drop calls. I would strongly recommend this combo if you live within an Alltel service area.

Alltel may work in your area, but for when I roam on their network in SW Michigan, their network was so spotty that I always had to deal with static & dropped calls. I'm with Verizon Wireless. Luckily this year I won't roam on Alltel as much now that Verizon built towers along I-94 from the Indiana/Michigan state line to Kalamazoo & Battle Creek, where they didn't have coverage before. I only hope that stretch will be better under Verizon than it has been with Alltel.

for your rokr...its a nice phone but it you want the slim style, i strongly suggest getting the samsung t809 . it is sturdy and has a great screen and sound. you cant put those protected itunes files on the samsung, what you can do is download them again from www.limewire.com. this file sharing program is free and is considered the best around. the t809 is a great phone if you want a slim music playing phone

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
