Upgrading a Notebook

Apr 11, 2005 12:47AM PDT

Hey--I have a Dell Inspiron 3500 notebook, and i want to use it to play burned DVD's, it has a floppy, and I'd like to put a DVD-ROM in its place, maybe with a caddy or something? It has an archaic 400mhz processor. Can I do this? Please advise.
Jamie
