Upgraded Hard Disk MP3 Player

I had posted earlier that the Gateway DMPX20 I had encountered a disk failure. I went ahead and installed the double capacity Hitachi Travelstar drive and it worked. I made my 20 GB player a 40 GB player for only $135. I wonder if you can do this to an IPOD or something? I guess now I have a Gateway DMPX40.
