PCI (not talking about the new PCI Express x16) cards are not as efficient and are not produced in high end cards.
I have a Dell Dimension XPS T800r Desktop with 128MB of RAM and a 20GB HD. (System memory upgrade to 512 is in the works.) Anyway, the system came with a 32MB Diamond Viper V770D Ultra NVIDIA (APG spec 2.0) video card. I'd like to upgrade the video card to a 128MB video card. Should I stick with an APG card or switch to a PCI unit? (I have an open PCI slot, for what it's worth.) My main goal is to eliminate some glitchy video on my son't Diablo II game without buying a whole new computer system. (We're going to upgrade to a wireless LAN system with notebooks, etc. eventually.) Other than the video glitches once in a while, my system does everything it needs to do. Thanks in advance for your advice.
