the obvious settings, what do you mean? Obvious to you may not be obvious to anyone else. Post back with more information and someone should be able to help.

The article [Q313055] discusses a host of details and explains that OE mail folders, e-mail messages, and Address Book are missing after upgrading to XP which occurs because the file structure in XP is different and files are no longer in the same location. This article provides a step-by-step procedure to help locate previous mail, folders, Address Book, and how to import them.

Many complain about OE6's TOOLS, OPTIONS, SECURITY settings since it appeared a few years ago and they were using OE5 or such which didn't have it.
