Resolved Question

Upgrade th video?

Dec 7, 2011 1:00PM PST

I have a dell inspiron 9400 with intel gma 945, I believe. Would it be feasible for me to add discrete graphics to the computer and give it some extra oomph when playing (lighter and older) games?

INtel Core 2 Duo @ 1.73Ghz
2gb ddr2-533 ram
GMA 945

Post for any other needed info!!!

As there is no card slot in these machines, you can't upgrade them.

Do you have some desktop that you can use for games?

No, I was planning on making a custom desktop but thought if I could breathe video into this old laptop then I wouldn't have to go out and drop some moolah on a new gaming desktop. Oh well...
