The exact size, make of the stick. If said stick came with security features and what files you see in the top folder of the memory stick.

I keep a few small sticks around just for such work. Remember I never write how to perform these upgrades. Why? Because it can brick a good machine. What I can do is listen and read what folk tell and compare it to the notes from the maker.

I would like to see what files are on that memory stick. I'd stick with the 1GB stick for now.
Also, some sticks come with a secure folder feature and that creates no end of trouble.

Show the TV the stick a few times and tell it "I'm going to reset you and poke you with this stick until you give up."

Glad it all worked out.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
