Upgrade Poweredge 1800

I'm looking to upgrade my Poweredge 1800 from a single core dual threaded Xeon (Irwindale 3Ghz)) to a dual core dual threaded processor (Xeon 7140M). Is the Xeon 7140M compatible with the Poweredge 1800.

I've read the 7041 did not work.

Seems the board does indeed lack support for multicore processors.
(Was hoping to squeeze a lil more rendering power out of it until the new Opterons come out.)
