Such a machine would struggle to deliver HD video. Don't bother with this machine.

Then what actually I have to do? Change the complete setup? Your suggestion please, for minimum configuration that is needed.

Of video cards that I like to choose from. I'd pick ANY of those with the HDMI connection and put that in my machine without hesitation.

For your part, it took many posts to get here. But at least we figured out that this machine is not a good one to upgrade.

Yes. I tried but no result. I checked with the local shops and they told me that I have to upgrade the VGA card.

what does "no result" mean? did you set the monitor to use the VGA input?

*any* vga card will work with an lcd monitor that has a vga input. the card may not work at the desired widescreen resolution, but 800x600 will work.

Actually I didnot try in this PC. But I purchased to use with this PC.

I tried it with another, the below configuration PC,
Intel(R) Celeron (R)
CPU 2.40GHz 224MB RAM.
i connected it with the supplied cord for VGA input. Monitor works as a normal one, not gives HDMI resolution

For both the case can you suggest what best I have to do to get HDMI resolution. Whether the existing configuration is enough or I have to upgrade any cards. Frankly I dont know much about computers but intrested to know and implement for quality perfomance.

i assume you mean the monitor works, but not at its full resolution.

if so, right click the desktop and change your screen resolution to 1680x1050.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
